Hope and Help For Your Child
Allison struggled academically for years. Her teachers couldn't find her "problem" and simply said that Allison needed a little extra help with her homework. After spending all day at school, Allison would spend hours each night with her mother reviewing and relearning the material her teacher had covered that day in school.
The process was frustrating for Allison and stressful for the entire family because each night was consumed with homework.
Does this sound familiar?
There wasn't anything wrong with Allison, she simply learned a little differently than her classmates. When Allison's parents enrolled her in the Discovery Educational Center, she received the individualized attention she needed and was able to overcome her weaknesses. With a little extra help from her Discovery teacher, Allison was able to keep up with her classmates, excel in school, and gain a lot of confidence.

Mapping Solutions
Mapping the path to your child's academic success is as easy as calling us. The first step is to identify the cause of your child's under-performance by administering educational evaluations that include tests and interviews. Another key component is information from you and your child's teacher to help us better understand your child's learning style.
Once we have discovered the challenges your child faces, we map out an individual program to address your child's needs. We provide you and your child with strategies to help achieve academic success. You will receive regular written reports about your child's progress and a formal assessment after twenty sessions.

Referrals
The Discovery Educational Center believes that every child has potential, and we exist to find and unleash that potential for learning and growth. We recognize that some students need additional help to reach beyond their potential. That's why the Discovery Educational Center offers referrals for children who would benefit from additional help. We work with children and their families to find the most appropriate services - whether these opportunities are offered by the Discovery Educational Center or a more specialized program.
